Soft Temper
G&S offers you two distinct choices of Bi-Metal in Soft Temper.

Gold cladding to Sterling Silver allows for distinctive design elements, such as etching and diamond cutting. Folding and twisting can be used to accent the twosurfaces. The ability for the design elements opens up a new dimension that reveals the two-tone effects of the techniques, which is unavailable in Gold Filled.

THIS ELEMENT OF DESIGN HAS GREAT APPEAL TO GENERATION Y.

Sterling Silver with 14K Gold bonded to the Silver. The karat gold can be engraved, gouged or removed by any method to expose the sterling layer beneath creating a decorative effect.

G&S offers you two distinct choices of Bi-Metal:

Karat ratio by wt.: 10%
Sterling ratio by wt.: 90%

Karat ratio by wt.: 37%
Sterling ratio by wt.: 63%

ANNEALING TEMPERATURE: 1140 °F to 1300 °F

SOLDERING: On gold surface use: 14K or 18K yellow easy (soft) solder On sterling surface use: easy or medium silver solder>
