I have worked with G&S Metals a number of times for both purchasing and refining. They have gone out of their way to make sure I was happy with my purchase and have always been wonderful to work with. My first experience with refining was somewhat intimidating as I really didn't know what I was doing. G&S took the time to thoroughly explain the process and help me understand what I would receive per ounce with each precious metal. I originally found G & S by doing a basic web search for jewelry findings and small jewelry parts. G and S Metals has been my supplier of precious metals and jewelry findings for more than 20 years. All their staff from management to reception is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I'm not their biggest customer by any means, but I feel like I am important whenever I need their services or materials. I hope they'll be around forever.

I have always had very good service from G&S, both for refining and for purchasing of new materials for jewelry making. Even though I must be one of their smallest customers they are still very helpful. Their prices are competitive with companies like Rio Grande, sometimes significantly lower for findings and typically slightly higher for mill products. If I only need a few small things I ask them to ship USPS as I live only about 40 miles away and so the carrier shipping is very expensive. I would use them a lot more except that I quite often need tools or consumables which they don't sell, and if I am ordering from Rio anyway then I don't want to pay shipping twice by ordering metals from somewhere else. I highly recommend G&S.
